you can feed both, tesco value chicken wings you get loads for about 2 (thats what i get) but always frees it first then defrost it before you give it to them.

Also (not sure if things are the same in UK) but in the US there is enchanced chicken and such. You want to make sure the sodium level is 80 or under.
Prepackaged meat from supermarkets is fine to feed.

In tesco's the only wings they have come in packs of about 20, I never bought any last time as I thought they'd go off before I used them all, but I am pleased I never bought them though as I wouldn't have frozen them first.

Now I know I can freeze them and defrost them as I need to.

Now do I feed boneless chicken first or is it okay to give Jake the wings with the bones in (but not the skin)

If you feed wings your want to alternate with breast only meals because wings are very boney and you don't want the poop to be too firm or he may have a bit of trouble with it. How large is Jake? Also another ood chicken thing to feed is bone in breast. The bones are softer than the wing bones, some dogs don't quite understand what to do at first so softer bones help.

Also some people say don't give skin, I don't always take off the skin, unless I feel its too much. For instance last night my Great Dane pup had a whole chicken and I took about 1/2 the skin off. The minis had the wing with most of the skin still on though.

Hi I tried to feed pepper a wing when she came home yesterday but she had no clue what to with it, so then I ribboned some boneless skinless chicken breast and she did ok with that.

Today I gve her half a chicken breast and she's been having a hard time with it, she is trying though. Her teeth are so so tiny. I'm getting a little worried about the raw thing, I feel she isn't getting enough.

Is it the bones she's having trouble with or the entire meat eating process?
She is a tiny girl, so it may just be the size of what she's trying to chomp on. She's also got itty bitty baby teeth and a jaw that probably isn't SO strong yet.
Have you tried giving her some bone in breast?
If she did fine with breast I would give her some of that to make sure that she is eating, but leave her working on (with your supervision) some bone. A wing may be too big/hard for her right now though, until she's gotten some more jaw strength and gotten a bit biger. My chis can get through wings fine. Also some dogs just don't know what to do with it because they've never had it. Cutting it open may help, leaving it sitting out (or in a bag in water) so it gets to a room temp or something, things like that can help them to see its tasty food.

Yeah I gave her the bone in breast half today and let it get room temp, she chewed on it for a while but I looked at it and it doesn't really seem like she got anything. I'm getting ready to give it to her again at 5 so I really hope she gets some this time. I did break it open and pull it apart some so she has places to hold on to.
