Default URGENT feedback needed

Going to get Jake insured and want to do it today.

I am waiitng on a call back from NFU

With Pet Plan they quote 24.75 per month with life time cover
Healthy Pets they quote 13.57 per month with life time cover

More than I didn't like the acess of 70 + 10% of remaining cost.. Ilike to know what I am paying in access in full

I am unsure why there is such a big difference with Pet Plan and Healthy Pets, does anyone know.

I also know Pet Plan has a great reputation but have never heard of Healthy Pets, does anyone have any experience of this company?

Thanks

Deme

Petplan seem to be the most expensive, i think because they are more well known.
The PDSA do the exact same cover for half the price too.
I havent heard of healthy pets so i cant comment on that sorry.
Hopefully someone else will come in and help on that one. xx

Just phoned PDSA and there cover isn't the same as Pet Plan and didin't give the benefits I need.

NFU was around the same cost as Pet Plan and if I made a choice between them I'd go with NFU as my horses are insured by them and they are a brilliant hassle free insurers.

Now I am gonna phone up Health Pets and see what they say, their monthly premium is 10 cheaper but cheap doesn't alway mean good.

I don't want an insurance company like E&L that insure horses, I've heard that they try to wrangle out of everything and take ages to settle claims after continuous disagreements.

So see what they say, in the meantime I am logged on still so will look to see if anyone has any experience still of Healthy Pets.

Cheers

Deme x

thats a good idea actually i like it! :
you mean like if you have to pay say 25 a month why not start a bank account and pay it in to use as an emergency account or however much you can afford each week/ month!

havent heard of Healthy Pets from a quick google there seems to be quite mixed reviews of them

I have the Kennel Club heathcare plan for Bentley but thats 60 + 10% of the final bill which I know u say u dont want to do, I also think its quite pricey at 25 a month

I also put money away into an account for Twig instead of insuring her, as all insurance companies exclude her leg as she has had an op for PL
