Default Wellness Core Reduced Fat

I just noticed while researching that not only is the fat content lower in Core reduced fat than the Core original, but the fiber is almost double. Does anyone who has experience with this notice that their chi's poo more with the added fiber than with kibble with lower amounts? Just curious.

I just bought a bag today. They ate some and have had loose stools
That surprised me because they were on Wellness Core all along...

Ugh, that's no good. I hope it clears up soon. I was just thinking about maybe trying it with Venus if she can't loose weight this summer. I've been walking her now that it's been in the 40s and the snow is melting, so I'm hoping I can get her weight down a little.

I am really happy though, my brother is taking me to PetCo (an hour away lol) so I can keep them on Core. I was just ecstatic when he said "well, of course I'll take you, your my big sissy"

I will say, that if they are picky eaters, I won't guarantee they will eat it.
Tabitha spit it out many, many times before she decided to try a piece. It
doesn't look very appetizing--looks dry and bland. Blech! I would spit it out too
Guess we will measure food accurately and cut out the treats for a while.

Oh really? It looks bad, like, compared to the Original Core?
Yeah, no treats for the little girl anymore... She's too spoiled as it is, and it's starting to show on her belly lol

this morning I decided to give it another try.
I mixed one part diet to three parts regular...
their stools are better this morning and I noticed Tabitha went right away;
usually she just sleeps in a few hours, then goes...
And, most importantly, no more people food. I was giving them a bit of cheese
or turkey. they have come to expect it when the refrigerator opens.
Time to break those habits and get them back to a better weight...
This Winter weight has really creeped up on all of us

OH NO!!!! Just looked at Jerry and he has HUGE tear stains!
NO MORE WELLNESS REDUCED FAT!

The extra fiber is just filler, it wont do anything but cause more stool, looser stool, and reactions like the tear stains or allergic reactions.

Oh no! Well, that's really too bad that it's such a lesser quality that the regular to give poor Jerry tear stains. Ugh, I guess we're both going to have to stick to no treats for a while

Oh really? I was almost wondering that. Because from the ingredients list, it looked like there's a lot more potatoes in it. And there's also pea fiber which isn't in the original. Looks like I'll just be cutting back on treats, maybe a little teensy bit on food, and a lot more walking!
