Default Kibble size?

I am at it again and want to change the pups from their IAMs onto something better. I still have quite a bit of burns left and was debating trying Daisy on it again but after she got colitis I am worried it will give it too her again! I am looking at arden grange now... Thing that worries me is the chi's only have small mouths so worried about the size of kibble.

What food do you feed and what is the size of the kibble and do your dogs have trouble eating it?

Sorry to keep bring up the food questions again...

Ziwi Peak- Venison Formula, it looks like small jerky treats. My guys go nuts for it, they hear the bag open and are exicted awaiting their food and eat it within minutes..

My Darla had trouble eating the Acana cause of the kibble size, but saying that i never moistened it or smashed it up.
I still have it and i may still change them over to it, although they are doing well on the burns right now.
Am moistening that for them and it helps a lot, even though it is small in size they just prefer it slighty wet
Plus getting the Acana isnt that easy for me.

If you did go for Orijen or Acana, or Arden grange, maybe just break it up or moisten it a wee bit then should be fine. xx

I loved the burns as the kibble wasnt too hard and was small but it just didnt agree with Daisy. Maybe I didnt introduce it as slowly as I could have...

I use the Blue Buffalo brand and its little tiny kibble (doens't like the Duck kind-bigger kibble)... I used to use Royal Canine and others. I usually set the food in warm water for 5 mins, drain, and then feed Chico.... (spoiled, I know)... but I noticed an oily residue in the bowl when I dumped the food on Chico's plate. With Blue Buffalo I don't see that oily residue anymore..... the doganalysis website said the Blue Buffalo was a 5 or 6 star food

I had Billy on arden grange, and although he really liked it the kibble is quite big, even the one for small dogs. So, as my new pup pixie is on royal canin, I have moved him over to that aswell. When he reaches adulthood they do a food specific to the chihuahua. x

I've feed all my dogs ( from 6 weeks ) on Arden grange weaning/puppy
Then my Adults have 'Mini Adult Lamb and rice' ( other than Kirby who eats Lilly Kitchen )
They have no problem with the bite size .. ( Even Zeta who is tiny )
