Default Will she stop pouting?

Zoey's feathers are definitely ruffled with little Ziva in the house. I told my hubby that Zoey likes being the only 'diva' in the house. We had Sebastian who died about a year ago, and Zoey would 'tolerate' him but he wasn't as active and playful as little Ziva is. Zoey's growling & snarling when Ziva tries to get her to play, and definitely resource guarding bones (she's always had a problem with that). But what can I do to get her to stop pouting, throwing temper tantrums and like Ziva? She loves playing with the foster kittens I bring home (we have 2 of them right now), but she won't play with Ziva as of yet. She will snuggle/sleep with her, but no playing yet. Just be patient? I do want to bring home another chi soon, but don't want to keep upsetting/ruffling Zoey's feathers and making her feel less 'divaish' lol. She is and always has been my #1 Princess, and I am making sure I keep telling her that, spoil her with just as much or more attention that Ziva's getting, but she definitely is upset.

Roll Ziva in Peanut Butter and Oats and let Zoey at her JK. Oakley has done the pout and sulk for about 1 month post each addition, just kind of got over it slowly, now she loves both boys. She still will sulk if I give one of the boys attention though. If I have been holding Trigger and he gets down and I tell her to come give me kisses (her fav thing to do) she STILL pretends like she didn't hear me. Then just to be a pill my hubby will tell her to go give him kisses, and she does, little brat! Its part of what makes our girls so...special...lol.

After I walked lotus and daisy together they played and have been best buddies since we get a couple of snarls over bully sticks but I expect that

Daisy ignored me for 24 hours

Thanks guys, at times it really seems like Zoey is giving me looks like "How could you?" lol. I know she's just being her normal Diva Princess, she pouts when she doesn't get her way. But I think before long they will be the best of friends (I hope)

Hahahaha, sounds like Lo! If I tell her to come give me lovin's, she will pretend she didn't hear. The second daddy starts to say "come here lozier!" she's already bounding for his lap. lol!
But ya, Lo pouted too. For about 2months with Finn... She's better than she was in the beginning with Dexter, but she still doesn't "like" him. She'll play when she wants to play, and cuddle almost never, but only on her terms. She's getting better.

Just time passing has always worked for us. Now I have noticed that with each subsequent dog that was brought home, it took the older one longer and longer to accept the new one--but he always did eventually.
