For several years now, my lip balm of choice has been Palmer's "Swivel Stick." I like it because it makes my lips feel moist, but is not greasy or waxy. However, I am concerned because it has cocoa butter, and my baby, Ren, likes to give me kisses.
The top ingredient is listed as "Theobroma Cacao Extract (Cocoa)." Could this be bad for Ren if he licks my lips when I have it on? I realize it's probably a miniscule amount of cocoa, but he's a miniscule dog!
I would really like to keep using this product (as I haven't found anything else I like) but am willing to give it up if it could harm Ren. What do you think?
