The story of the sweet old fellow is heartbreaking. Heartbreaking for him that the people he loves (even as I question how he may have been treated in their care) could decide he was of no value to them without a thought to his feelings, but heartbreaking as well at the thought of how very common this is, but we just aren't made aware of it.

The sad thing is that the chocolate merle long coat puppy would sell for a lot of money here, and over there he is in a shelter because no-one wants him.
The little old man is just heartbreaking. He is obviously missing the people he loves, and they just dumped him.

I have to agree, that ole man could steal a heart! It's hard to say what their situation was. It may have been heartbreaking for them to part with him. He is a senior, so someone had him for a long time!

It's sad, but when an eldery parent or relative dies and leaves an animal behind, it's not unusual for that animal to be put up for adoption. It's very sad, but it happens. When my sister passed away, in Florida, my niece had to give her dogs back to the breeder because she couldn't take them. Luckily, the breeder took them back, even though several years had passed since my sister got them.

I feel bad for the little guy! I'm sure someon will snatch him up quickly!
