Default Las Vegas Little Boy Needs a Home

www.PetHarbor.com pet:LSVG.A781717

This little one is at Las Vegas's high kill shelter- where most chis don't get out alive. I hear he only weighs 4 lbs, just a tiny little thing. I really, really wish I had room for another today. There are so many chis down there, I see pictures every day, but I saw this little guy posted on facebook and I am just heartbroken for him. I am headed out on vacation in literally 3 days and feel so helpless to do anything for this guy, I am contacting my rescue peeps to keep track of him and to make sure he gets pulled before they kill him but it would be best if he could just find a home! There is really no guarantee that any animal makes it out of there until they are actually out of there.

If anyone in Las Vegas (or in driving distance- that place will adopt to anyone even people out of state) is looking for a little chi please check him out!

Thanks for sharing! You never know, she may know someone who is! I don't know why I feel so much for this little one, there are so many chis down there, I kinda thought I made it past the point where one can get to me like this. On my way to the supermarket I just almost drove to the shelter instead. Whatever happens ill make sure a rescue pulls him if his time runs out even if I have to foot the bill. He is just so little and must feel so alone in a big kennel with nothing- I am so sure that a sweet tiny one like him has a forever home somewhere if they just knew he needed one. I hope last night was his last alone up there and he finds a home today.

It is so sad, if he was in the UK he would be valuable, people really want tiny, typey chocolate Chis.

I think that is the case on the east coast of the US as well, or at least the northeast. From what I hear there would be a line out the door of the shelter for him in New York or Boston.

Through the power of facebook I think this little one got adopted! I will know for sure in a little bit, but a few people on facebook were really excited to go see him and now he is not in the shelters system anymore. I'm double checking now that they didn't move him somewhere or something but it looks good. I'm so relieved!
