just wanted to alert any Aussies on the forum that there is a choc and tan gorgeous female in blacktown pound .

1) Minimum tender prices are as follows (current for 2010/11) -

$62 for dogs 6 months' of age and over
$60 for entire dogs less than 6 months' of age
$40 for desexed dogs less than 6 months' of age

2) Lifetime registration costs are $40 for a desexed dog ($15 if on a pension), or $150 for an entire dog

3) Microchipping cost is $27

If a dog is already registered and chipped then only the tender fee applies.

Opening Hours
Monday to Friday - 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Saturday - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Sunday - 9:00 am to 11:00 am
Closed Public Holidays


Blacktown City Council's Animal Holding Facility is located at -
415 Flushcombe Rd, Prospect
(cnr of Flushcombe Rd and Great Western Highway)
Entrance to the facility is from Flushcombe Road

NAWWWWW and my OH lives in blacktown! Fark! I would so not be aloud to have her. this is killer !!!

i know what you mean , not often these guys end up in the pound , she is such a looker as well , i gather the more people who know the better her chances are of being safe .

I sent them an email asking for pics and telling them if they get no interest in her to email me! Haha I'm in deep **** lol

i would have done the same if i was closer , you can put a minimum tender on her blacktown works on a bidding system and sadly puppy farms do go on the look out there so with any luck she is desexed or she will be a prime target for them , if she is desexed , chipped and registered her cost will only be the tender fee .
she is due sat so if no tender fee has been put on her already she will be for sale straight away from that date .

They just called me, they dont think she is desexed :L

and apparently she is very timid and they think she might be a fear biter

I am going to try to con OH to go see her on saturday tho

That is awesome news hopefully your oh comes around , i have rescued fear bitters before as long as you are slow with her when first meeting but dont show any fear she will be fine , if you do decide to rescue her she will gravitate more to the one who shows her love first , i have found they become quite attached to you , another thing to think of is she would be quite scared and could also be a totally different dog out of the pound
