I am a foster home for some rescues and have several needing new homes. Most of them were rescued from California shelters, and the others are rescued by me.
Saved from euthanasia at awful Lancaster CA shelter. Owner Surrender her name was Paige, but when she got to me she needed a brand new home to get a new start in life so I changed it to Gabrielle. She really is so incredibly sweet and very loyal to her owner. I wish her previous owner was loyal to her but I can't judge. I don't know the situation. She is a bit of a fire cracker and needs lots of socialization with people, She is possessive of food, objects, and her person. She is mellow and suits apartment life just great. She has giant ears.
Here is her petfinder page (through the rescue I'm fostering her for)

If you are interested in meeting her please send for an application, and once approved we can set up a meet n greet. I would love to see her in a forever home soon!
Next is FREEDOM. I took on this little Chi/Doxie from a couple who could no longer keep him. He HAD a home but the people who took him decided they didn't want a pet so he came to me last minute. He is now available through the rescue. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and microchipped. He is a wonderful dog. Would do great with a couple or single person who wants a lively 12 lb dog. He is slow to warm up to you so any introductions must be on his terms. He really is quite loving and sweet but upon first impression can be deceiving. He loves to be pet, sleep in the bed, and play with you. Because he is nippy I do not recommend a home with super young children. I think their movements scare him.

( This is a WA rescue. I don't think they transport or do adoptions out of state but you can always inquire)
Next is Dixie(AKA Juliet) who is a sweetheart of a dog. She is available through Saving Great Animals:
Petfinder page: Petfinder Adoptable Dog | Chihuahua | Seattle, WA | Dixie URGENT
I picked her specifically because she resembles my dog Smudge alot only she is about 6 lbs. A very tiny thing so doesn't take up much room. She is QUIET as a little mouse so is a great companion for anything. She is a little shy but with time will bloom into a wonderfully confident dog. Working on house training and leash training her. I've had her a few days so there isn't much to go on yet. She doesn't bark at all so great apartment dog. Is okay with getting a bath and getting nails clipped. Please e-mail for adoption inquiry.
Available through me:
Faith is a black and tan chi is who up to date on shots, licensed, nails clipped and is due for spay on March 6th. I had tried to get her appointment sooner but they were swamped. Now she is very sweet and loyal to her "person" when she bonds to you. It takes her a while though and must be met on her terms. She is seeking a home where someone can lavish all the attention on her. She CAN get along with other dogs, but is selective. She HATES my female chihuahua but is fine with the rest of the fosters. I really want to see her in a home with no other dogs though. A male might be okay. Once she is spayed it might settle her down though. I'm trying to get her in sooner. She will be spayed and microchipped at her appointment. If you want to see pics, more info, and the adoption process please let me know.
Thanks for looking. Might try to post pics later..but anything I do on this computer is trial and error.
