So my chihuahuas are PAL registered so no conformation but it looks like the Chihuahua club of America is having one day of obedience on Oct 11 in Crystal Lake, IL. Chihuahuas only. I am going to sign up my little guy (not my agility chi because he is too crazy). But I think it will be cool to see other chihuahuas in the obedience ring. Now they need some agility. There was actually another chi at the show I attended this past weekend!
We are working on his CD. He has some trouble with stand for exam and he gets nervous when the judge reaches down. We have done rally and he enjoys that but I just love working him off leash and showing people what a little gentleman a chihuahua can be. I am doing novice JWW as well just for ring experience.
On the agility note here is my other chi : he is running a T2B course . . . . If only I could get rid of that bark at bar setters and judges. Ironically he is also a therapy dog and is the quietest calmest boy ever in a hospital or nursing home.
