hi this is romeo and i hope you can see what i am talking about with his tail
his tail has actually relaxed a bit more from i have brought him home
so heres two pics of the tail so you can tell me honestly what you think

He looks lovely and his tail looks fine to me, But then again i havent really studied the Chi breed standard.

I think it is possible that as he ages it will change again a few times? With the weight of the hair as it comes in that is. Regardless of how it finally matures I would think it would be a minor fault as long as most everything else is conformationally sound

thank you that means a lot michelle as i value your opinion
so you think that he looks good enough he does seem it at home and i am showing alfie tomorrow and taking romeo along to see how he copes with the noise and the other dogs
hope romeo is confident enough

I think he looks good and I think his tail set is nice. A stacked shot would give a better idea of his conformation but from what I can see from the shot above he looks real nice

Here is the description in the standard " the long sickle-shaped tail should curl, looping over the back with the tip just barely touching the back."

Have you ever viewed the illustrated standard from this site? This one gives several pictures of tail sets and they all vary some.
