I'm not looking at the fact that they're Chihuahuas, I'm looking at the fact their dogs and I need help from dog-owners. so please help me!
George and Bryan are two five year old Chihuahuas - brothers.
As you can see, we've had them since well, birth.
Here's Bryan now.
Here's George now.
Bryan always acts so dominate/submissive towards George and I think it's making George stressed. He sends out snorts and growls and snarls to George whenever he's near the food bowl or water or beds or sofa, he constantly licks things and us, Bryan will also try to snap at George whenever there's like a chewy treat involved...
So I just don't know, I hate to get rid of animals - I don't want to be irresponsible, but when it comes to the point of George having to be hand-fed due to his fear of Bryan's dominance over him - *I literally hand feed George his kibble, almost every piece until its gone because he wont eat with Bryan around* its sorta scary and ridiculous right?
Scary, because I'm afraid a fight will break out one day, and ridiculous that - they're brothers and I know they were raised since birth and we helped birth them, so we shouldn't have to deal with this, but hey, I'm not a dog, I don't speak dog, what do I know?
So, for the safety of my dogs, should I get rid of Bryan? *I'd never get rid of George, as that'd be heartbreaking for him - hes way too bonded to my mom.*
I don't even know if my mom would allow any of this to come to mind as she loves the dogs too much, but if they're freaking each other out, maybe she'll listen. Just maybe.
