Default Training 2 to walk on a tandem lead

Who has mastered walking 2 dogs on the same leader? I bought an adjustable coupler or tandemlead but 1 always runs ahead ( usually puppy) and so the other halts and refuses to walk. They are both always on harnesses, not collars.

I will work on lead training Meadow as Alina walks nicely then will they automatically get the hang of things or will I need tk train them both specially to walk together?

I agree....i started out with Raisin & Mia. A coupler would be hard to use unless they are walking well without. Give Meadow time to learn to walk and learn your commands that you use with Alina. "Let's go", "leave it", "heel"...etc. I kept mine on two leashes, now they walk in tandem. I've worked with Lily since we have had her and can now walk the three of them easily.
