Default Caught JoJo red pawed!

Hiking his leg to tinkle on a stuffed animal this afternoon. I NORMALLY never leave him unsupervised at all, but I let him out of his area after I got home from a Dr.s appointment and just started to get undressed and comfortable so we could have a training session when something told me to go in my bedroom and check on him and I come around the corner and there he is, leg in the air... I think I scared the crap out of him, I hollered and he was like "Oh *&$#!!" and spun around and looked at me with these HUGE eyes... Lets hope that was a one time occurrence... I had him neutered at 14 weeks old... It's certainly not hormones!

I cannot stand marking males... and yes, I do have an intact male in the house who is due to be neutered soon, I'm totally thinking Jo is imitating, or trying to.

Oh boy! Thankfully my ( neutered ) boy Bailey doesn't mark. He does sometimes lift his leg to tinkle though...silly thing. Poor Jo, surprised he didn't startle pee himself lol

IF this continues as marking, get yourself (or in this case the dog!) a belly band. A few days with a wet band, and he'll think twice about marking. Your other dog should use one too.

My other dog has a couple Pee Keepers:

https://peekeeper.com/

Because Max is the king of the army crawl and will worm his way out of a belly and in 3 seconds flat... these are great but his are way too large for Jo. Anyway, I'm hoping I don't have to go that route obviously!!! A potty issue in a potential Service Animal would be a nightmare and a deal breaker!

So, just going to watch him real close and redirect any unwanted behavior I see. So far nothing again, but it's only been a day.
