Default chihuahua snapping

My chihuahua is almost 7 years old, his name is Parker and he likes to snap at my boyfriend of over 3 years.
when my bf kisses me or touches me parker snaps
It has been getting a little worse
he never actually bites my bf he just puts his mouth around his hand or snaps at the air but never uses teeth.
I do not know how to fix this behavior it kind of gets in the way of snuggley time.
i know that he just wants to be the center of attention but it's just not possible 24/7
please help with any training advice!

Parker is jealous....you need to put him on the floor (off the sofa/bed) or remove him from you and your boyfriend every time he acts up like this....he will soon get the message that its unacceptable behaviour. Likewise when he sits next to your bf and behaves he needs to be praised.

This is a serious issue, as it is not nipping or chewing which can happen during play or teething....Snapping is a form of aggression that is very close to if not direct biting.

I agree with Bella and Smidge's mum- tell him off firmly then put him on the floor and do no touch, no talk, no eye contact for about 5 mins afterwards to he sees that the consequence of snapping is the removal of your affection.

I used this technique when my two boy Chi's were snapping at each other a few months ago and it worked well.
