This really scares me. I don't let my dog out of my sight while we are out but Ive read in local news papers about dogs being taken from their owner while out walking. Also I worry that if someone broke into my house they would take my dogs. In the next town to mine 2 chihuahuas were stolen from their house, it's terrible.

Wow that's scary! I was walking arnie through town and a van slowed right down on the opposite side of the road and shouted asking how much I would sell him for. Obviously I said he's not for sale and they drove off. 2 mins later they had come back on my side of the road and stopped by me asking me how much again. This was on the outskirts of town in the middle of the day down a busy road. Horrible experience. I felt very threatened as they were 2 men

Omg, how scary!! I've had that happen to me where suspicious people approached me to ask if my dog was for sale... but not as bad as what you went through. I read a story in the local newspaper a while back... this teenage girl was walking her chihuahua on the street when a car stopped next to her... a woman walked out, snatched the dog and drove off! It's so scary.

Coincidentally, something weird happened at the park earlier today... I was walking with Lilo in my arms when this dodgy looking guy came up to me and kept repeating "I really like your dog" while getting closer. My boyfriend was in the process of taking a picture of me and Lilo and he then approached my boyfriend saying "is that a camera you have there, I really like it too". He looked like he was about to snatch Lilo and my boyfriend's iphone. I held on Lilo tight and my boyfriend quickly put his phone in his pocket and let's just say we walked off very quickly...
