Unhappy Scared, could use some prayers.

This isn't dog related, this is me related. I know I just got here and I don't really know anyone but I would love a few extra prayers right now for a health issue. I have a weird rash going on and I'm not feeling well. I called my Dr. today and they wanted me to come in this afternoon but no matter how I tried to finagle things, I couldn't make it work out. So they left it with me that I'm to call in tomorrow morning at 9am and hopefully my personal Dr. will be able to see me then, if not, I'm to go to the ER. I'm terrified it's a staph infection, I have anxiety disorder and as such, as if I wouldn't normally be scared, I'm like beside myself with worry and anxiety and have needed my rescue anxiety meds twice today already. I'm watching my temp, BP, and heart rate really close and so far my temp is 100 and I'm taking it hourly. I usually run a little on the cool side so I'm keeping a close eye, if it goes any higher, I'll go to the ER tonight.

Anyway, would appreciate any healing energy and prayers. Thanks so much guys. I'm off to cuddle my JoJo and try to calm down.

Take a a deep breath first. Could be a number of things besides staph. Have you had measles? Most rashes don't cause fever---. What is making you feel sick?

I've not had measles but the rash pictures online look absolutely nothing like what I've got going on. What I have is like a baseball sized spot of small pimple like spots at the top of my bum on the right (a little TMI, sorry!), I also have a couple small clusters on the back of my right thigh, as well as a couple in some unmentionable areas. Using the ladies room has been rather painful for about 4 days. They feel like pimples, but they're clusters. Everything is on the right side. They're not itchy at all, they're painful. Sitting has been great fun! (not!). The big cluster of them at the top of my bum just showed up two days ago, there is about 16 spots in this cluster, it's red and warm to the touch.
Overall, I've just been feeling very tired, no energy at all. I took a 4 hour nap this afternoon and I'm not the type of person who normally naps mid day. My appetite is fine though and I'm not sick tummy wise or anything. But I am worried. Hopefully whatever it is, I'll have caught it early enough to not be a big deal!
I've recently had a LOT of stress in my life, and I'm sure whatever this is, my stress factor has not been great for my immune system.

Thanks Susan <3

Being anxious definitely takes a toll on your immune system. Try some deep breathing or relaxation techniques. I have anxiety too and I everything becomes a huge, catastrophic issue to me. I know it's hard, but try not to let your mind blow things out of proportion. You've called the doctor, you're monitoring your symptoms, and you have a plan set on getting to the doctor. You've got it under control! 😊
Good luck at the doctor. You'll be in my thoughts. 🐾❤️

Yikes. Hope you feel better.

I have a type of eczema on my hands that causes swollen, fluid filled blisters. It is usually confined to the hands and feet, but worth mentioning anyway.

I hope you are feeling better and find out what's up asap. My husband suffers with anxiety too, and he is the same when there's something not right with his health he freaks out. It can be the smallest thing.
Just try not to panick and avoid reading up online and self diagnosing because this usually ends up with you worrying even more! Try and keep calm hunny sure everything will be okay

It turned out to be a terrible case of Shingles. I never suspected it because most times it presents on the torso. Even my Dr. took one look at it and proclaimed "OH, I've never seen it THERE before!"
I've had a lot of stress in my life recently, and he's positive that's what allowed my immune system to drop enough to reactivate the virus. Lovely.
So, I came home with an Antiviral (though from the looks of it, I waited much too long and it might not help at all), a pain reliever, and a steroid. He says the pain can last quite awhile, long after the rash goes away... Here's hoping I heal fast!
Just glad it's not Staph!!! Thanks so much for the prayers guys!!
