Default Tips for draining a stopped up ear (human)

My DH has been having issues with his ears lately. It usually is wax build up and sometimes we use peroxide and it works pretty well, this time it did not? We have tried the candle thing as well.

Does anyone have any other tips that we might could try?

I have trouble all the time with my ears plugging. I've had ear trouble all my life.

I irrigate my own ears. And then drop white vinegar in them to dry them out.

I've had issues with my ears for years. The warm oil really does help but if there's a major build up, it might block it completely. I usually go to the clinic to have it flushed. It's instant relief.

**ETA if you do go to get it flushed, make sure to use the oil for a day prior to going. It makes it come out better.

My ears bother me terribly bad too. I think it is mostly driving the schoolbus, all the dust in the air and in my ears too probably. I usually clean them out as best I can and put anti itch cream just inside them with a q-tip for a little relief from the nagging itch. although right now everything is bothering me as i have the FLU! dangit. I am dying for a hot toddy, but have no whiskey!
