Default Cat Food

At the moment we're feeding Thor (our 5yr old recently adopted cat) Kit & Kaboodle food. He was really under weight when we got him because of his living conditions with his previous owner, we wanted him on a little more of a fattening food and since the wal-mart brands are mostly junk food we thought that would do. I'm wanting to change his food though since we've had him for a little while and he seems to be gaining just fine (he's getting fat lol).

Right now I've got Boss on Wellness small breed and he absolutely loves it and is doing beautifully on it. So I thought I'd try the same brand (but obviously for cats) for Thor. What do you guys think? What are some higher quality brands of cat food?

I feed my Cat Iams cat food for active adults she really seems to like it. She likes very smelly food.

I don't want to sound awful but Iiams ..and to be honest most others are rather bad foods. I order Orijen for the family cat You've all heard Orijen raved about on here right as a food for our chis?!?! Well they make cat food too! Mum had her siamese on Iiams and as soon as I found out I changed it quick!! She looks miles better on Orijen cat food. I order it for them because it's only available to order in the UK and my folks aren't very computer savvy. Happy Cat, Happy Mum, Happy me though now! Hurahhhhh! Bad quality pet foods...grrr how much to they get to me lol
If I remember right Wellness is a 6* dog food the same as Orijen is?? So it should be great too

That's what I thought, I just thought I'd see if anyone had tried it. I'll end up picking some up the next time I'm in town and have the cash. I bought Boss's food when it was still warm out, and we're STILL going through it. I love that food!! lol I don't think I can buy Orijen around here . I'll try the Wellness and see how he likes it.

I would never feed Iams. I don't buy dog/cat food (on a normal basis) from anywhere that sells people food. It's all crap. But we needed something fatty.
