Default free to good home

four small furry smelly things!

MICE!!!

My sons hamster died 3 weeks ago, and he decided he wanted mice, So stupidly I let him get 2 furry and 2 hairless mice, but we have discovered theyre afecting his asthma! ANd I cant be doing with having them anywhere that I have to look at them all day long lol

So if anyone wants them and can collect theyre yours, BUT we want to keep the cages theyre in as he wants another hamster (chinese dwarf doesnt affect his asthma at all!)

Thyere housed in pairs at the moment, so you'd need 2 cages if you took all four.

Would swap for a chihuahua of course ROFL

Rather than just hand them out "free to good home" I'd say it would be far better to contact a local rescue (I will pm you their number) and ask if they can help first. Pawz For Thought are in your area and a great rescue. If they can help, they will, but like all rescues they are so often inundated with unwanted animals

If they are unable to take the mice, ask if they can recommend a rescue who can. Another option is call your vet and ask if they can suggest someone who can help.

If a rescue can take them, please ask if they want the cages too, chances are they will already have enough, but it's only fair to offer.

Please try a rescue first, so many animals offered "free to good home" end up being taken on impulse and end up in anything but. Mice are especially vulnerable as if just given away can end up as reptile food

Hope you received the rescue numbers I sent via pm? Did you try any of them? Hope you've found a safe place for these little creatures.
