I don't believe Frontline kills flea eggs, so what you might be seeing is newly hatched baby fleas. I'm using just Frontline (not Frontline Plus). Have you taken a flea comb through their hair and seen fleas? Have you bathed them since applying the Frontline? I try to wait a week before I bathe Zeus after applying Frontline. I'm sure someone here can offer some good advice. I hate fleas. One product I've used in the past is called "Flea Stoppers". It's granules that you put on your carpet, then with a broom you broom these granules deep into your carpet. These granules will get deep into the carpet padding where flea eggs tend to be. Here is a link that tells you alittle more about it and what the container looks like should you decide to try it.

Good luck. I know how frustrating fleas are.

I use Frontline for Lola and have never seen a flea.

I remember that the vet I used to work for prescribed Advantage for the cats he saw and not Frontline. I think this was his personal preference. I do not remember any of the cat owners having problems with fleas using Advantage.

Fleas run in cycles so you may not be catching all the eggs (hatchings), I have had no problems with frontline plus but there are old threads with lots of info on comparing products

i had this problem last year when i temporarily worked at a dirty boarding kennel for a month. i called the people at frontline and they said that yes, they can still get fleas on them but they will dies shortly after biting. and it makes them sterile so they can't lay eggs and thus breaking the cycle. if you have a bad flea problem in the yard then you have to use pesticides to control that. we even had to bomb the house last sumer because i brought a lovely batch of fleas home from the dirty kennel. i use revolution now on everyone cause it's cheaper to use instead of using frontline and a heartworm pill.

I didnt bath her 4 days prior and havent sence applying frontline the vet said not to. i havent combed her i didnt think of that ( thanks for the advice) i guess if they just get on her and die quickly i should be more patient. I dont mind the expence if it works. I do have neighbors with several pets and they dont do there yards. Maybe i should buy the pesticides and do there yards so my yard will have less fleas? I put 2 times the amount in my back yard because of my neighbors!! Porsha has flea allergies (hair falls out) so when she scratches i freak.

thanks for everyones advice. :P

At one time I was using Frontline and needless to say it didn't work for my poochies. We bombed our house and garage and did the lawn and then the dogs and cats adn no good. I switched to k9 advantix and I love it. Advantage is good too!!!!!! However Frontline might work for you, just didn't happen to for me.
