Default Seiah's Life Journey

Today mommy took me to the park today. What was she thinking on this windy day. But that's okay as soon as I realized what was going on I totally forgot about it. I ran a little, walked a little, but mainly sniffed around on the ground to see what was there. Found nothing, everytime I tried to pick something up sure enough mommy was there to take it right out of my mouth. Exciting day, I can't wait to see what's in store for me later. And I overheard mommy talking to daddy about getting an umbrella for me so the sun doesn't hit me to hard. I think she's going to take me to the beach soon. Hopefully, she'll remember to bring her camera.

I currently weigh in at 2.5 lbs.

OMG...My fiance's parents and little sister have gone to Hawaii (soooo jealous ). Well, they asked us to dog sit (they have a miniature poodle) for 5 days. I have no idea how I'm going to last. The poodle, Bubbles, is an attention fiend. If you're not 100% focused on her she starts her barking rampage. Poor Seiah is just going deaf, he rarely ever barks...its more of a growl and that doesn't happen to often. We tried having them hang out and they just start fighting, no playing bow...no tail wagging . Seiah got her so hard she yelped , but he didn't want to stop. So now we have to keep them in seperate rooms at all times . I hope this ends soon .

I finally got the sweater from Posh Poochy that I've been waiting for. Waited a month then emailed them and asked what was going on. Apparently, they never got the order from the website I purchased it from. But they made sure they charged me like two days after ordering it!!! I won't shop with them again !!! But the sweater is cute, a little big so I won't put it on him until he gets a little bigger. I also got in a yellow sweater I won on ebay. He been doing really well on not chewing it to shreds . Other than that waiting on two more sweaters and a carrier. Can't wait!!!

Went to the vet today and Seiah got his third shot. Only one left is his rabies. In a little over a month he will be getting neutered, appointment already set. So nervous, I don't know what to expect. Geez I can only imagine the fear he'll be going through . Hopefully its quick and easy and I'll be able to take him home the same day. But today Seiah weighed in at a little over 3 lbs. My is he growing fast... !!!

Seiah got his last shot . I was in there for no more than 7 minutes, but the vet made me nervous . She told me that the rabies shot was injected into the muscle, therefore if he went to sleep it might stiffen and he will start screaming out of pain. But gave me the advice to rub it so it doesn't stiffen. I was at work for eight hours just rubbing away at his muscle . He hasn't cried yet, but Seiah is a trooper when it comes to pain . When my brother dropped him one time, he acted like nothing even happened.

I finally got his new carrier. A little smaller than I expected...my fiance saw it and said 'kinda small don't you think...I think we do need to get him the Louis Vuitton one'. My smile was from ear to ear...lol. But I at least have to use this one for a little bit so I don't feel money was wasted.

Oh was it a long night last night. Seiah had just gotten his rabies shot yesterday and was he in some pain last night. He didn't whine at all, but when anyone brushed the area of his shot he growled . He was in no mood to play, he just laid in his bed and tried to go to bed. He was shaking a lot and he started to get a fever. But everything ended well, and now he is happy again .

Wow what a day...Seiah, Ash, and I went to the Barrington Mixer. It was so much fun. Seiah was so timid in the beginning, but loosened up in the end. It was so cute, I would try to get him to follow me around the park, and since there were so many people he would loose me and just go back to the side of the gate and wait for Ash or I to get him. But I met Martina, Kristin, and Nate who were all sweethearts. And I got a chance to meet Romeo "the wise one", Sadie, Ritz, and Tiny. They were all soooo adorable and let me tell you, pictures do not justify the beauty of these chi's. Anyways I can't wait to go to another one.

I gave Seiah a bath yesterday, and it was the first time that he actually sat for it. He's always trying to escape, but not this time. Then I brushed his hair, sprayed some perfume on him, cleaned his ears, and trimmed his nails. Oops which by the way I made him squeal . I almost went to far on one nail and quickly let go when he squealed. After that I got so nervous I was sweating just trying to finish his nails. Now he smells good and his coat feels so smooth.

I got a letter from the vet thanking us for choosing them as our vet. They included a coupon for a free fecal analysis, so I'm going to do it thursday. I just want to make sure everything is going okay in his little body. Other than that same old same old. Just Seiah making the cutest faces making everyone around him giggle or awwing.

Wow what a day. So I took Seiah into Nate's Hospital and Seiah is going to go through surgery and get the bump on his right side taken out. *Cross fingers* Hope it all comes back negative. The amount of crying I did today is all I could take. BTW thank you Nate for all your help.
