Default Princess potty training, biting, docs & more! HELP!

Hey guys!

Hope all are well, its been awhile since I posted news of princess but school has kept me busy as well as lil princess.
I'm once again going to ask for guidance and help, thank you in advance if at least one question is answered

First of let me say princess went to the docs got spayed! And her main vaccines such as distemper, rabies and one call pav...influenza or something like that thank you especially to one member on here!!! Suggesting a place to get it done at due to my economic status with princess I wasn't able to take her to the vets and pay $400-600 for that surgery we got it done for $82! And she did very well! It broke my heart at first she couldn't walk or even let no one touch her but my lil brave one got thru it lively.

One question raised to me with the effects of surgery now because I feel as if princess is more tense, mad she bit me a few mins ago and my finger was bleeding I didn't get mad but worry I see constant biting and growling than before hmmm oh and p.s the docs said princess might be 10-1 yr old? Since the people she belonged to didn't know. Could this be why she bites? Or does she need a ahem male dog ?

Second question:

We live in a apt building and princess has a bad habit of going potty at 3-4am & it bothers me a lot! Because is very dark outside in a alley and extremely cold.so I decided to start potty training inside but she refuses and even holds her peeing or poop for the rest of the night !

Any tricks to this ? Or products since I heard my step aunt bought her dog fake grass and tray and her dog does her business there.

Thank you all in advance and I truly appreciate it the help I gotten feedback so far thanks to all princess was able to be at the docs and receive her first ever vaccines due to the fact her previous owner did not oh and I leave this pics of princess enjoying herself under our lil Christmas tree she loves sitting there. How is Princess? Is she still biting? I have a little girl I rescued a few days ago. She was spayed a few days before I brought her home and she has been snapping at everyone. She is six years old and is very sweet at times and then will snap and bite at other times.

This is very interesting! Angel is 2 yrs old. He was spayed at around 9-10months old. After that he was no longer friendly to others and got to biting a lot!! The vets office has "red-flagged" his file! He has to be muzzled, which I don't like! He has drawn blood on me many times - too many! I have done a lot of research online and with advise from cp, I am working on training it out of him. It seems the key is obedience training and lots of exercise! I can't walk him in this old weather because I have raynauds and its just too hard on me, but the weather is starting to break!

You can try the Potty Patch for her, but I like the pads. I don't know how to train her to go from outside to inside, but I would agree that you don't need to be taking her out at 3AM! She may respond to it better. Angel goes out at 10PM for the last time at night and then again at 7:30 in the morning! He's done that since he was about 3 months old!

She needs to know who's in charge, but with positive reinforcement training!

Don't give up!

Thank you for asking about princess, so far she still is a little snappy not as much she is more lovable than anything however she still barks when she sees people (new most of the time) so I had to put a muzzle and walk her around people to show her that is safe to be around people. & I'm glad to hear your lil 6 girl is doing well too

Try the 'nothing in life is free' (NILIF) method. It shows the dog YOU are the boss, and does it nicely. Anything the dog wants he/she has to earn it. Sit for your meals, sit for petting, sit before coming up on the couch (if you want her there). You get the picture. After awhile, the dog just accepts this as the way things are.

If this dog is biting, then I think I'd remove her/him from the scene for a few minutes, or remove YOU for 30 seconds.
