Smile New chihuahua mammy!

Hello!
I am a brand new chihuahua mammy, I have had my Lilly may for nearly one week. She is 10 months old and is a smooth coat and the colour fawn.
I am very interested in whether any of you other mammys out there have dealt with Legg Perthes Disease? Lilly has been in for an operation today as she has this , and is spending the night at the vets.

Hi and welcome! I have no advice on this. But I hope the surgery goes well. Keep us posted.

I think this has something to do with the hips? Not the usual hip dysplasia, but something similar?

Welcome and congrats on your new little girl. I have never heard of this disease, but wish Lily well and a speedy recovery.

Heya! Thank you everyone !
Lilly -May is home now , the operation took her hip out and the vet says muscle will grow back to form a hip. We have an appointment at the vets on Monday to discuss physiotherapy or hydrotherapy.
Thank you for caring about Lilly, I have been so stressed!
