Default Hello!

Hello,

I'm Matt. I live on a farm and I have 5 small-sized dogs: A maltese, a beagle, one poodle, one yorkie and a pug.

Considering a labradoodle and a chihuahua to make the family complete ^^.

Nice to meet you and hope to be of help to this forum.

welcome to the forum, Matt. Hope you decide to keep the chihuahua IN your house and not outside. They don't do well in outside housing. They are really inside dogs as far as living arrangements go.

Welcome!! We Did A LOT of camping this year with my chi's. They do not do well outside
for long periods of time. They are both hot/cold sensitive. Changing temps throughout the day seems hard on them also. Was kinda surprised by their sensitivity to the weather. I find they our Definitely an indoor dogs in my opinion.

Sounds like a fun pack! I don't know where your other dogs are from, but be sure to do lots of research if you are buying from breeders. Avoid pet stores at all costs. My Chihuahua, and many others here, are rescues, and they can be quite common in some areas of the country. Doodles are the current "it" dogs, so there are many people breeding them who are clueless or just plain greedy. Not that that doesn't apply to some Chihuahua breeders, but it is probably worse in doodles currently.
