Default Hi Everyone

After losing my beautiful chihuahua boy Milo in 2013, today I have adopted Tilly a beautiful little chihuahua girl. She is 2 years old and was dumped after no longer serving her purpose as a puppy mill breeder.
Tilly is a gentle soul and so timid and I absolutely love her to bits.
Thank you for welcoming me (Eva), my partner Brad, and Tilly (Shantilly).

I'm sorry for Milo.
But I'm glad you have Tilly. I'm sure she is grateful to have you.
Welcome to the forum

Welcome to the forum. Glad to hear you adopted a puppy mill mama. I adopted a 7 year old p.m. mama years ago. She was so shy she really never became a 'human' comfortable dog, but did wonderfully as a dog that had other dogs around. A trainer told me ''just let her be a dog, she'll do fine'. I only had her for 3 years, as she died of a lung disease related to the 'fumes' of ammonia from the urine she had to live with. She had a wonderful 3 years. She had no fear other than humans, and would lead my other chihuahua for 'trips' down the island trail in our summer cottage, in N.H. It was so cute, watching her go down 25 steps and trot off with the other chi following her. She never went far and came back with in 15 minutes or so.

Welcome glad to have you here! I'm sorry for your loss. I used to have a Jack Russell named Milo! Good on you for rescuing her!
