Hello! My name is Samantha. My sweet chi is named Little Bit. I despise that name haha! So, I call him Bittle Lit. No, I didn't originally name him (obviously). He came to live with me in 2011. His previous owner thought that he was 2 or 3 at the time. He's what I'd call a rescue considering his previous conditions. When I first got him, he was so incredibly timid, partially bald, and extremely overweight. The woman who had him before admitted to losing interest after the puppy stage. She said that she'd just open a big bag of his dog food for him to eat out of whenever. She also rarely gave him attention. When she did she was pretty harsh. Eventually her son put his foot down and decided to rehome him. Lucky me! He's now very loving and sweet. He's the only Chihuahua I've ever owned. I didn't even want him to begin with. However, I'm a sucker for critters in need. I'm so glad I get to be his person. Absolutely NO regrets. Other than my chi... I have cats horses and other dogs..Oh, and some fish ? I live in the country with a lot of land for all and a pretty large home for my babes. All spoiled. All loved. All cherished.

Welcome to the forum. Bittle Lit is a lucky fellow in deed. I'm glad he turned out so well. Sounds as if you have an ideal place for him and all your 'critters'!

Welcome
I'm so glad he was given to you. Sounds like he's a great addition to your family.
I've never heard of anyone just letting their dog eat from the bag of dog food. That's so sad especially with him being overweight
Sounds like all your animals are living a great life

Hi Samantha, I want to tell you that you are an angel for taking Little Bit. I had tears in my eyes when I read your post about the way he was treated before, no sweet little dog should have to go though that. But now he is in a loving and caring home thanks to you. Like I said you are an angel

I have lots ??? I bought a chihuahua named him Romeo bc he absolutely loves everyone. The. I rescued 2 more both female. One is spayed and has scoliosis. The other we found in a parking lot. Didnít know she was about to be in season. Now we may have a house full. I will have her spayed after this litter. Does anyone know what color chihuahua I should expect from a black and white and small amount of tan (clown faced) that appears to have bred with a tan?
