My declawed siamese jumped into the pen with my baby chi, boxed her ears, terrifying her. They are still just tolerating each other. So be careful!
Great advice! We have an Iris pen that I had to cover with plastic cardboard & zip ties since Mango learned to climb out already. We can use that.
He is tethered to us with his leash most of the time, but earlier on when he used to stay close to us & we had not learned to tether yet, he got swatted by one of the cats because he chased them. Luckily it was an ear instead of an eye (we treated it & it has healed very well.)
He has gotten better. Less growling & barking & more reverence for the cats. The cats are interested & will sit fairly close by when they know he is tethered.
