Default Huly- Help Needed

As some know Huly is my miracle kitty, health issue challenge etc.

He had an allergy test 4-5 years ago and he is allergic to seafood, fish, beef, lamb, alfalfa, pumpkin etc.

Well last night I had to take him to the Vet. He has a tail issue where he bites at his tail. 50% of it is mental and 50% is nerve damage but this time it was just different then the issues in the past. As she was examining him she found a rash going down half his back to the base of his tail. She thinks it is an allergy again and we are running full labs and another allergy report. I am scared to death. If he is allergic to more proteins I am not sure what I am going to do as right now he eats Chicken, Duck, Rabbit, and on occasion Pork.

She did give him a dose of Silica (homeopathic), some ointment, and Salmon Oil. I have avoided all fish oil with him due to his allergies but she told me it is ok as oil is different than the protein but with Huly being so sensitive I have avoided everything.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Not sure they always say cats should be all protein as their bodies do not process anything else. I am wondering about Kangaroo???

Personally I would never feed my kitties a vegetarian diet - they are obligate carnivores meaning they need meat. There's actually been stories of cats dying and getting sick after vegetarian owners tried to feed their cats a vegetarian diet as well. And I would not take advice from PETA seriously especially when it comes to feeding my pets. They have some crazy views and opinions lol. Check out catforum.com for lots of kitty advice - there's a bunch of other proteins like rabbit, venison, etc. I'm not sure if you feed canned or dry but for a kitty with allergies I would recommend raw - check out Primal raw they have a pheasant and rabbit, turkey.

Nature's Variety Instinct also has canned rabbit food as well as pork, venison etc. as well as some LID dry rabbit - I would feed wet or raw over dry though.

Have you made any changes in cleaning products recently? What are you currently feeding?
