Default Having a hard time finding the right PUPPY food

Our Lola is almost 12 weeks and still on the royal canine puppy starter etc. The breeder had her on that. We read the websites and looked at the 4 and 5 star foods. Looks like most of the people on here feed ZP and fromm. Which one is best for my 12week old pup? see one puppy food from from but it is not grain free. Advice would be helpful

A chi puppy is fine going on a high quality ALL LIFE STAGES food. Fromm grain free, Acana regionals, and Ziwipeak are all perfectly fine for a pup. While large breed puppy may need special food, chi puppies really don't. As long as the bag clearly says ALS it's fine. Growing puppies just need to eat about double the recommended serving per meal.

If you want kibble, the grain free Fromm and Acana are the best out there. Wellness core isn't bad either. Ziwipeak isn't kibble, it is air dried raw.

OK, I think we are going to go with Fromm. Looking online now and don't see ALS. I see the grain frees and also see a puppy formula (not grain free and not one seen mentioned on this forum).

Surf and turf, is this one ALS? Can y'all help me narrow it down to which flavor is ALS so I can get it ordered?

I went to the Fromm website and specifically pulled surf & turf for you. It is ALS because it says puppies will need 2 to 4 times more food than adults.

Click on link to read on page.

Edit: I went back and looked at the page again and at the bottom right it says suitable for All Life Stages.

I pulled the link for the full line of the 4-Star. Read down and it shares that it is all life stage.

Also, I'm sure you're doing this but just in case, I would wet the kibble if I were you.

The breeder told us we should wet it twice a day but leave out dry all day. She is eating like a horse right now!!! I can't seem to keep her bowl full.

Can I ask why you wet it? I did the first couple weeks like the breeder said but Lola is eating all of her dry so I thought I would just do that. I didn't know if there was a reason people wet the kibble if they are eating it all gone as is. I will start doing that again if she needs though! Just curious . I'm new to the whole puppy life so I'm winging it as I go!
