We have just made the switch to a pre made raw for a few reasons, Basil was getting super fussy about his organs, I hadn't got a decent amount into him in a couple of months.
This was the main reason to try it, added bonuses being that even with a 20 euro delivery charge pre made works out at half the price for us, not really an issue but I can't complain especially with the 2 of them now, and it is much easier to give the dogs more varied proteins, very convenient etc
I really don't want to loose his dental condition, his teeth are perfectly white. He currently has a bone in meal every 3rd day. Is this a suitable routine to keep up and should I still be including fresh chunks of meat too? Do the chunks of meat have many teeth cleaning benefits?
Both dogs have a recreational deer bone from ziwipeak which they gnaw away on and have bully sticks and tendons as treats to chew on.
Have any of you guys made the switch this way too? Did you notice a decline in dental health?
Thankyou for any insights
