Default ???? for Orijen users

I was just wondering what size the kibble is in the puppy formula? Is it ok for chis?

My 4 are going into a kennel soon and i have said i will supply my own food for them. I'm going to portion up raw and freeze it but i wanted to take another option for the chi's just in case they wont eat it, what with being in a strange place.

I would be happier knowing that they are having a good quality kibble rather than something cheap thats full of grains that the kennel have there.

Its the first proper time i have ever left them and its worrying me sick! I'm trying to think of every eventuallity.......

I'm dreading it!

x

Awww i know how much you will miss them Rache and worry.
Am sure they will be ok, but i would be the same as you.
I havent fed Orijen, but i did feed Acana from the same company, and even though the peices were bigger they ate it no probs.
That is good and grain free aswell
The Acana is for all life stages too, so even a pup can eat that.
But if you are happier with orijen puppy that's cool aswell.
It is just slightly higher in protein than the Acana from what i have heard.
Others that have fed the puppy one will hopefully come in anyhow. xxx

The kibble isn't very small - but they are well able for it, if they are eating raw they probably won't have a problem with the size - mine were all fine with it when they were eating it.

Thanks Terri and Jane.

The only reason I thorght Orijen Terri is because I have heard it mentioned more thats all. I think I will have a look at the Acana tho.

I'm dreading leaving them. But my family needs a holiday........

For next year I'm going to have them all rabies tested etc so they can travel to france and back with us.

I'm going to miss them.....sob.....
