Default What to Feed Baby Ben?

Tabitha and Jerry are on Royal Canin so I guess Ben will be too... I emailed
the breeder to ask what she has started him on. Well! Surprise! It's the puppy
formula of Royal Canin. Ben is on Royal Canin Toy Breed Puppy. In the future
I would like to gradually move up to better food, but for now I have 3 healthy
Chi's on RC.

Therese - Tabitha and Jerry look gorgeous. They have beautiful coats and are healthy and happy. Obviously Royal Canin works well for them. I wouldn't think of changing when they are doing so well. I'm sure baby Ben will do well on it too.

thank you Tracy
I had tried Wellness Core; thought I was doing something good for them and
they both developed issues they had never had before. Well, "if it isn't broke, don't fix it!"

btw--love this new section of the Board...

I totally agree... If it isn't broke, why try to fix it?? When your fur babies are beautiful, healthy, and happy it looks like you must be doing something right!

Ya know what they say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it... LOL. You know your own dogs best.

The Honest Kitchen has been the most wonderful thing in the world for Bryco. His tummy just doesn't process kibble well. So after trying every brand out there (I even tried a RC brand and a Hills brand), and finding that something less processed is so much easier on him, of course I decided to try it for everyone else. Not recommending you try it, only saying keep it on file for if he has tummy issues. Its been a lifesaver. By now though, I'm sure you'd know if he had issues with kibble.

I can't wait to see pics of little Benny! I hope he is healthy and does well in his new home. LOL I can't wait to see what the twins think of him.

Oh, I hope he is healthy and happy too!
And, I trust all will go well with bringing him into the household. He is going
to probably be a 4.5 to 5 lb adult, so always "the Baby"

When we got Bella the one food our breeder said not to feed her was Royal Canin, she said it was well known for bad hair loss ?? But looking at your two i find that hard to believe because they look so healthy.

We started on Hills and i always heard they were comparable quality so we went up to a 6 star Orijen and ziwpeak, she loves them
