Question Bully Sticks???

I really hope that I have posted this in the correct section, sorry if I didn't

I have heard so much about Bully Sticks and I would like some information in them. What is the appeal? What are they made of? How many of you give them to your chis? And where do you buy them at? Thanks for any info I'm always searching for new and healthy treats for my chi and pei. So any suggestions would be great

I also get them from Jan's link in the post able. Great quality!

They are awesome. I don't do any rawhides at all. These are a great chew, good for their teeth. As Jan noted, they can be fattening if they can power through one. It takes Brody a long time though, probably at least 4 hours to get through one, and that's not continuous chewing - just 30 minutes or so here and there.

best bully sticks also has some other good chews and treats. Check them out!

I have bought the odorless bully sticks and they do NOT smell as much as the regular ones. If you are sensitive to odors, get the odorless ones. They still have a bit of a smell, but it's not overwhelming.

I get them from best bullies. I get the 6 inch. My guys don't really eat them. They just chew at the ends. Cleans their teeth, and occupies them for a bit. If it wasn't for the teeth cleaning part, I wouldn't buy them. I put out one, then when everyone has got their feel of chewing, I put it in the freezer. I let them chew on it twice, then throw it in the garbage. Even when I used to leave them out all the time, I'd throw away 5" of a 6" bully every time. They would get old and dry out before they'd ever make a dent in it. So it depends on how "chewy" your pup is. They like them, but they are hard as a rock, and your pup has to really have some jaw strength to chew through one.

My dogs have a few bully sticks out to chew on, but it takes them weeks to get through one. They only chew for a few hours a day.

It takes Max weeks to go through one, too.

They are a bit smelly, but they're all natural and he definitely loves them!

I'll have to give the odorless ones a try next time.
