Default may be harder to get orijen right now

Hubby went to get a bag today and they were out of the small bags and he was told that orijen had a fire in their kitchen so it is harder to get it right now. We bought a larger bag they still had but wanted to give a heads up so you guys that feed this can stock up

It took me 1.5 months to get my order of Acana because our supplier here could not get any for so long. I felt bad for the guy because he was really stressing since he could not get a shipment in that he was promised for so long and it was making him look bad when it wasn't his fault. He sent us 1kg for free in the meantime while we waited on our full bag order. It was just shipped a couple days ago and is on its way now. I wonder if all Champion Petfoods foods were affected.

I just bought a bag Friday. I think I might have to order another bag so that I can make sure we have it for next month. Jaxx loves his Orijen.

According to the letter sent from Champion to the store I find Orijen at, the pet food dryers for certain lines of Acana and Orijen (both dog & cat) are temporarily broken. I hadn't heard anything about a fire? Anyway, the food is still being produced, but is not as readily available. I seem to have lucked out, as my kitten's Orijen food will still be available at the store I buy it from as it is going to be hand-delivered by the distributor. Thaaaaank goodness!

I have also been told about the fire. I used to buy Orijen in the very small sized bags. I like the small ones as I only have one dog. When I had trouble getting small ones I bought some Acana,,,which I am not thrilled with. Now I heard from the owner of the shop where I buy dog food about he fire....ugh ! He is trying to get me some small bags. I did feed Rico some Blu Buffulo stuff and he did okay. I think that the Acana has a really--very strong smell. Luckily Rico would eat anything...or just about anything...

Thanks for the post

I was wondering! I went to buy the cat's food yesterday and their wet food was in stock but there was absolutely no Acana cat kibble. Going to go hunt around today.
