Default Millie

I wanted to post some pictures of Millie on here. She passed away a little over a year ago now. And I have been thinking about her a lot. I only had her for about 4 months she passed when she was only 7 months old but she left a big mark and I still miss & love her so much...
I'm getting all choked up looking at her pictures and thinking about what happened but I want a little of her out there, she has not been forgotten...

It's still really hard to think about what happened but to make a very very long story short she was poisened by a neighbor. I dont live by them anymore thank goodness but now Winifred has to deal with a super over protective Mommy. I really cant help myself though with what happened to Millie..
She is greatly missed....

How can some people be so evil? Poor little boo. I had the same with my turkeys. I know they aren't the same as a dog but they were very, very tame and followed me everywhere. I called them Cagney and Lacey. They used to love a tickle under the chin, they used to go all soppy and fall over sideways! A neighbour who had an issue with us threw rat poison over into our garden. One took quite a while to die. I can't imagine what it must be like to lose a dog in that way.

She was beautiful, that is so cruel. My uncle had 2 boxers that someone poisoned, they never found out who did it and it always ate at him, wondering why and who could be so mean.

Yeah I truly dont know how people can hurt an innocent animal like that. It was horrible my poor girl, I dont know how someone could live with themselves after doing something like that....

she was such a cutie. I can't believe how cruel some people are. How can anyone do something like this. I'm glad to hear you moved away and I'm not surprised you became overprotective. I'm so scared of getting another dog partly because I can't bear the thought of them dying in similar ways to my coco. I will undoubtedly become very overprotective too.

Yeah I worry about Winnie probly alot more then I need to but I just cant help myself. I was kinda bad just with Millie but after what happened it went into over drive. But Winnie has helped me so much I cant even describe. I wont lie its hard I miss my Millie a lot. And sometimes I feel bad because I love Winifred so much but I probly wouldnt have gotten another dog when I did if Millie was still alive so I feel guilty. But the short time I had Millie was such a Joy, & Winifred is so special. I just wish I could have had them both. They would tear my freakin Apt apart I'm sure but it would have been so great to see them play.

But I ended up getting Winifred so out of the blue I feel it's what Mill would have wanted because she didnt want me sad...

She was beautiful! My dogs have all passed due to illness or just time.

Even so, I am overprotective! But I believe it saves me aggravation and them pain! Angel is not allowed on furniture unless invited, he travels in a carrier, sleeps in a crate (we also have a cat and a golden retriever), and is crated when we go out! I take him in my fenced backyard on a leash to do his business. It may sound a little ver the top, but I really don't want anything to happen. And yes, I realize there are no guarantees, but I can minimize the chances!

I feel badly for you. I don't know what I would do if something like that happened! You have no recourse!

But, yes, Winnie is there because that is how Millie would want it!
