Default RIP my sweet coco

After 11 years my baby crossed the rainbow bridge this afternoon. We fought hard with her the last five years. I will miss her with all my heart. RIP my sweetheart we will never forget all the laughs we had with you.

Oh Cass, I am so sorry. Coco should have been with you longer. I know you did everything you could for her and you must be devastated right now. I've only had Laurel since November and Chocolate since two weeks ago, but they have been able to heal my heart so much in such a short time.

Sue is on every day and will be here shortly.

I'm here if it would help to talk to a stranger. You and Coco will be in my prayers. Of course all dogs go to heaven.

Cass: I am here for you. You should know that you did everything humanly possible for Coco. I'm here to tell you that I probably would have given up weeks ago! Syringing food into a dog for weeks on end is a lesson in what a great dog owner is! Now get some rest, and quiet time and think about getting another chi. I, personally, get another dog almost immediately. Some people wait for awhile. Whatever you decide----.

I didn't replace my son with a dog. After I lost him, I didn't want to die, so I purchased a valuable piece of livestock that I thought would work as a personal security system and a cat substitute.

Laurel was the one who decided to heal my heart.

I support you whatever you decide and will SQUEEEE over any new chi or chi mix. We are not being insensitive and of course no one will ever replace Coco or my child, we have just both learned that letting someone new into your life can be very healing while you are in mourning.

Even planting seeds and caring for houseplants helps me to feel that I am still part of the universe.

Please take good care of yourself and let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Thank you everyone but right now my mom needs to get her life back. We are all devestated by this loss yesterday especially mom since her and my dad were doing most of the work. No more dogs right now. Mom had cancer treatment almost 3 years ago and Coco was her lifeline. She has been housebound alot and needs some time to herself. Maybe we will all take a trip.

I will check in from time to time and let you know when her urn comes back. Thanks again for your support.

Do either of you have facebook?

I do. Don't use it much, and there is no picture. Do keep in touch, Cass.
