Sorry if this has been asked already.
I'm trying to put Lilo on the raw diet and having trouble making her eat. She gets excited when I give her the food but gives up really quickly.
The first time I gave her a chicken wing tip she was really excited. She was happy to chew as long as I held it at the same time. She ate the bone and clearly enjoyed it... but since then it's like it's too much of a hassle for her. lol She doesn't even want to eat raw chicken breast even if I chop it in tiny pieces. She tries to eat it but spits it out. It's like she doesn't like the texture.
Any tips to make her eat it? I tried to cook small chicken breast chunks lightly which made her more interested in it but she still spat it out. She only eats it if it's fully cooked. Should I try to give her something other than chicken to begin with?
When I switched Coco to the raw diet, she instantly loved it. I never had any problems making her eat anything... but then again she was older than Lilo (who is 15 weeks old). I'm going to keep trying but any tips would be greatly appreciated!
I'm feeding her ziwipeak in the mean time which she loves so far.
