Default Calling All Raw Experts!

i Have FINALLY shed some light on raw to my mom. shes a little weary about uncooked foods but i thats okay.. so, in preperation for the switch ( not until life gets back to normal - Blu was my recovery present for my depression and self harm, ect. i was gone from home 3 months but now my sister is.. well pretty much copying my mistakes... ) so until then I want to get a handle on exactly how i should switch Blu to raw, what i should feed him, how much, when- basically everything u can tell me. i shall be searching the threads on raw but it would be nice if i could have all the information in one place thanx for any and all help in advance!

-Melani and Blu

My best advice? Do your research before switching. Make sure you're comfortable with the calculations (even though they're really only a guide) before you start, and then take it SLOooooooooooW! Keep it simple. It's really not as hard as it seems once you get the hang of it.

I researched for a full 2 years before switching my pups to raw the first time. I wanted to make sure not only that I was doing the right thing for them, but that I was actually doing it right. Of course, I wasn't on this forum where a lot of the information is already gathered and spelled out at that time. Read it, study it, learn it.

The best to feed is raw as this make coats shine, teeth healthy, and poos smaller. Like said above defo worth reading some older threads before you jump right in. Was you thinking of feeding a already mixed raw food or going strait in to raw bones etc ?
If your thinking of a already mixed raw this one is above all rated the best. Ziwipeak ZiwiPeak Dog Food | Bern Pet Foods .co.uk
The feeding guid lines for this food is smaller here is a chart to show you how much.

Here is a thread made a wile ago and it explains a lot and will help you it has everything you wanted to know all in one post https://www.chihuahua-people.com/raw-...-raw-diet.html
