Default Patchy Hair Loss

Having switched to raw food, I've noticed a healthy weight loss and an abundance of energy in my 10-year-old ChiPoo, Cookie.

Today, however (just now, actually), I noticed a small patch of hair loss just on the side of his mouth. There is still SOME fur there, but the hair loss is definitely noticeable at a quick glance.

I sprayed some colloidal silver on the area and applied bag balm, and am planning on keeping an eye on it for a week or so.

Has anyone had this problem since starting raw with their dogs? I'm not sure what the cause could be. I've checked his entire body for more hair loss, but it seems to be just that one spot. Nothing on his paws, or behind his ears or anything. The patchy area also doesn't have any lesions or abrasions, or ringworms for that matter.

It seems to be a little bit swollen, so I checked the INSIDE of the lip, to see if maybe he got a cut there. Nothing.

I can't for the life of me figure out what is causing this strange hair loss. I don't think it's an allergy to anything, because it's such a localised symptom...

My Baby gets that too sometimes, I think it's just because they are sensitive, and then put their faces in EVERYTHING..outside...gross hehe.. I just wash it with some antibacterial gel and put some coconut oil on it, that usually gets rid of it within a couple of days
