Default Feeding Natural Instinct

Hi just got a tub of this to start my 9 month 2lb pup on, I know this May sound like a silly question but do I weigh the portions frozen or do I need to defrost then weigh it out, I have cut the frozen block up into large cubes so can take some out and defrost. I will also be giving her some Eden dry food for breakfast and the raw for dinner does this sound ok. I have also brought some chicken wing tips which she seems to love, is it ok to just give her one or two of these a week as well.

Sorry for the long message, thanks for any help

Debbie

It sounds like a great plan. Technically you should weigh the food when defrosted, but with a quality product there shouldn't be much water/ice so it should be about the same. Also no need to be too precise with a puppy, just feed by eye, if she starts getting podgy cut back a little.
Chicken wing tips are very handy as they will add enough bone to counteract a soft bowel movement. So keep an eye on her poo, if it gets too firm or chalky you should avoid any more wing tips for a while. Natural Instinct is quite bone heavy, so you might need to feed some plain meat as well. Keep an eye on her poos, they are the best indication of what she needs.
