I thought it might be helpful to put together a visual meal plan for those who are looking into raw diet. It follows the proper ratios of Prey Model Raw, including meat, bones and organ; fed twice a day for one week.
I did use ground beef for the red meat in this picture; but as there is some controversy on how ground offers more surface area to collect bacteria, know that it can be substituted with actual beef cuts.
Remember it's just a guide and doesn't need to be followed specifically; you can switch up the days to your own convenience; and your choice of protein can vary. You just want to aim for mostly red meat, which is why we feed it 4 days a week. We used poultry for the other day.
I think one of the hardest things for me at least when venturing into raw was trying to put into perspective how to balance the meals accurately. Hopefully, this will help others who may struggle with the same issues, as I think this shows just how uncomplicated it can be to prepare a whole week of food. =)
