Default Thinking of switching eventually

I think I will change Trinity to a raw diet but slowly currently not financially ready to make such a big change. Three places to choose from that are as closest I can find.

Welcome to OC RAW DOG!

SOUL'Y RAW

Cool Pets Raw Gourmet Pet Nutrition

Anyone from SoCal that may have experienced these places? Or is everyone just making it all themselves? Lol.

Premades are a great place to start, but you will find DIY is much cheaper. The other way to keep costs down is to have a large freezer so you can take advantages of special offers and bulk buy discounts.

I won't be able to invest in a freezer until way later.

You will need some sort of freezer, even if it is a tiny one for now. I only have a tiny freezer, but manage to feed 5 Chis from it. Not much room for human food though lol.

Eventually came sooner than I thought (Started 6/5/15)...still no freezer but I'm happily sharing my freezer space with my pup...I haven't had enough money to buy myself my share of meat...is mostly hers. I've seen some impressive freezer storage of other raw feeders through Facebook groups I'm in that have help me every day with my pup & any new things that come up...concerning her diet and what to expect and so on. Already been a month...I've been a little slow...only on the second protein. I finally got her a crate...now my pup can no longer drag her whole meat parts all over the kitchen/dining room floor. She has some stubborn habits with her bone-in drumstick...likes to eat the bone and leave a lot of meat behind. She is such a stinker. She eats at least 6 ounces a day. Her spay surgery went well, was back to herself after the first day and was all healed up in like a week. I think she will l live a long healthy life...raw food diet, no over-vaccinating (depending on the results of titer tests and if its allowed...maybe never vaccinated again), only natural pest treatment/repellent, stuff like that All is left now is some proper training!

Good to hear, raw fed dogs definitely heal quicker.
We don't have a separate dog freezer either, just a table top one that we share. With 5 dogs (albeit tiny ones) there is rarely room for human food lol.
