Default sodium content

The only chicken I can find that has 70 to 80 mg of soduim is sanderson farms chicken at krogers. as far as ribs go I cant find anything that is not in the 180's and over. Any Ideas where to get lower sodium beef and pork ribs and meat? I dont have access to a farm or to hunted game.

I find my beef and pork at walmart. Look for the farmland riblets, they come frozen in a 10 pound box and are cheap. They have easy button bones. I do trim fat on these as they can be fatty.

I haven't found much beef that is enhanced.

Look around at other grocery stores and also ethnic markets if you have any (asian or hispanic) as they will have lots of good meat that is not enhanced. And its typically at a very good price.

I would just call your local grocery store or walmart and ask for the meat department. Then ask if they carry farmland pork? Then see if they can order you a box or two. I think they are 10 pound boxes. Have you ever had riblets at applebees? They are like that, only raw.
