Default are neck bones any good?

I usually feed "normal" cuts of meat haha so I don't know too much beyond ribs and boneless cuts, besides bone in small animals. A friend offered me some goat neck bones and I'm wondering if they'll be of any use?

If I give them to Onyx, will she be able to consume the bone or will she just strip the meat off and I toss the bones?

If they are good to feed, is it a problem if they are cut up? I didn't even bother to ask if they were cut or not, I just went "yay free meat stuffs!" Lol!

Not sure about goat necks, but Odie loves chicken necks! She eats the bones. She'll usually eat one cut in half because she never finishes a whole one.

I prefer the chicken necks to the wing portions personally. Biscuit can crunch them up way better than he can the drumstick part or the middle portion and I just feel more "comfortable" with that.

The goat neck bones will be bigger, kind of like a small version of an ox tail I think? so I would think they would work.

Here is what they should look like:

Thank you for that picture! If they are anything like that, Onyx will love them. The meat in that picture looks strangely... yummy

I definitely will! They should be bringing them over next week or so. Hopefully I can get some decent pictures of Onyx eating them. Lol!

My guess is that Onyx will greatly enjoy the meat, but won't be able to make a dent in the bone. I've fed goat to my guys before, but the only one that could really crunch down the bone was the husky. Everyone else just stripped it bare. Goat bones aren't super large, but they are a lot denser than poultry bone, and the littles just can't seem to crunch through them (or mine can't, at least. )

It's a great meat and will be a fantastic workout for Onyx, but you may want to have some wing tips on hand, if you want her goat neck meal to have a digestible bone component.
