Default Freaking out! Need reassurance

Hello, recently switched Rico to Raw! eeeek! He has only had a rib (which lasted 2 meals and I took it away once he got to mostly bone) and a chicken wing that he is chomping on as I type. He eats natures variety raw bites in the morning. So all together 3 days. My worry is he hasn't pooped since yesterday morning. He is peeing and doesn't seem lethargic or ill in anyway! Is this normal for raw fed dogs to go awhile without a poo? He normally does at least 1-2 when he was on the royal canine only.
Also should I let him have all the bone of the chicken wing or is that too much? He hasn't had any other bone?

Thanks in advance, Carrie

My pup did this when I switched him over, think he ended up going around 3 days with out pooping. You would know if your pup had a blockage he would be in some pain, very lethargic and certainly not playing and running around. You can try to give him some stewed or canned pumpkin ... just make sure it is 100% pumpkin with nothing added. Not giving the pup any more bone till he poops is a good idea too.

The chicken wings come in three parts, I started off giving my pup the wing tips, which are very boney but the bones are small so easy to crunch through. When you first start raw feeding you will be feeding more bone than usual to help keep the pups poops firm. How much you should be feeding depends on your pups weight and age. At first my pup was having a wing tip every day and then as he got used to the raw diet and to chomping through bones I have introduced a variety of bones and now he gets a boney meal every second day, I am about 2 months in now and anticipate that I will drop down to a boney meal maybe 2 times a weeks.
