Not only are homemade treats a healthier option than store-bought treats, but they can also be a lot of fun to make. Here are some easy recipes for making Valentine's Day dog treats that your pup is sure to love!
To make Bacon and Egg Dog Treats, you will need the following ingredients:
1 egg
1/2 cup bacon bits
1/2cup wheat flour
1/2cup cornmeal
1/4cup vegetable oil
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together one egg and 1/2 cup of bacon bits.
3. Add 1/2 cup of wheat flour and 1/2 cup of cornmeal to the egg and bacon mixture, stirring until combined.
4. Gradually stir in 1/4 cup of vegetable oil until the mixture is fully blended.
5. Roll the dough out on a floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness.
6. Use a cookie cutter to cut out the treats in the desired shape.
7. Place the treats on a greased baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
