She is so precious! :love2:
Haha, I wanted to tell you to roll up that rug too!
I would also find a different spot to put her pad,
dogs do not like to potty near their sleeping or eating
area, so naturally once Gemma wakes up and walks
out of her crate she will go further away to do her
business. Also I was curious, are you going to stick
to pads or train her to go outside?
By the way your place is really nice, I remember you
saying it was a very small apartment, I think it is huge
lol, well at least compared to my tiny cave! haha
I just moved her pads over, LS. I made it two instead of one as well. Now they're a little further from her crate. We put a blanket down on the floor today to sit and play with her and now she is snuggled up on it and sleeping. I can't believe how good she is. I've praised the heck out of her every time she's used her pad. I hope she's learning! She seems to be doing really well. I took care of another little puppy this age before and she was peeing and pooping all over the floors every 30 to 45 minutes! That puppy is making Gemma look like an angel right now. Here's her pad setup now (I plan gating off the area behind it near the door, I just need to get another gate):
