I agree about the nail. How horrible. Actually looks worse in the picture. This was taken right before he had his nails clipped. I kept bugging his "mom and dad" to get them done. They kept getting caught on everything and besides, it was not comfortable for him. Since then, the kids have been doing better in his upkeep. As parents of human children, I'm sure many of us identify with the time when our kids are in their teens and even young adults, they think they know everything and us parents know nothing? Well,there was a short period of that kind of mindset when I shared some of my experiences regarding upkeep, training, etc. And.... bottom line, it is their baby, not mine. I help out with the baby when I can without pushing it on the kids. I just realized that with a Chi baby, it is no different than with a human baby. Sigh..... grandparent hood....
